We'd love to have you join us for the 2024 Southern Christian Writers Conference Writeaway Workshop; our regional workshops are wonderful events, with outstanding sessions led by industry professionals. Plus, they offer the chance to meet with other writers in a cozy, casual atmosphere.
(We like to say they provide the quality information and inspiration you get at our annual SCWC--but in a smaller atmosphere with lots of opportunities to fellowship with new friends!)
This year's Writeaway Workshop features sessions led by Alice Murray and Cheryl Wray.
The schedule (and session topics) looks like this:
8:30 a.m. Doors open and breakfast
9 a.m.: Opening session
9:30 a.m.: Session 1, "Finding your Faith Story" (Cheryl)
10:30 a.m.: Session 2, "Telling your Faith Story through Articles, Blogs, and Devotions" (Alice)

The cost for the in-person workshop is just $40; you can't beat that price for the information, inspiration, and fellowship you'll receive. If you can't attend in person, there is also virtual access available for just $20.
** How does the virtual access work? If you can't attend in-person with us in Orange Beach, you can get recordings of all four instructional sessions (and the opener and closer). The recordings are given to you via access to a private workshop playlist on the SCWC YouTube channel. You can then watch and rewatch them at your convenience. You'll also receive a workshop packet with handouts and other information. Note: if you attend in-person, you'll also receive the online recordings. **
Sign up for either in-person attendance or virtual access using our REGISTRATION FORM. (It includes information on how to pay by debit or credit card, by Venmo, to PayPal, or with check.)
Registration for this workshop is limited to 25. The deadline to register is Oct. 1, but registration will close once it fills up. (The deadline to register for virtual access is Oct. 3.)
We'd love to have you join us on October 5! We're already anticipating a wonderful, God-led time of inspiration, encouragement, information, and friendship. We know that it will be a wonderful time.
